I use the same exact headphones using it for almost 2 years, well not that regularly but sometimes while using it on your recording you'll tend to turn off your "noisy" fans or Air-conditioner (when i'm recording a vocal track or using a condenser mic) and the heat builds up in the room and make you sweaty!

You find your headphone soaking wet from your sweat and sometimes forget to dry it, after a few days or times that this happens the "STINKY" smell on your headphone pads will start to get stronger and more annoying on your nose!

One solution that i came up was an old-school way of removing the smell of your pillows without washing them.

If the "Sun" is up and the weather is good hang it where the "Sunlight" can directly hit the PADS, this way it will burn the bad smell coming from the pads, make sure that it is hanged and the pads are not touching any hot metal object just to make sure that will not burn the pads' thin coating.

You might find it weird, but that's how i do it!
